and nvidia physx, because when i tried to install it manually it showed some weird "text" in the installation and didnt realy finish.īut i noticed that the gfx card driver installed it too on its own later.Īnd i saw a physx folder in the "apb reloaded/tpi" folder, so i got the thought that apb probably will install it on its own when i delete physx and apb requires it. so i thought maybe something is wrong and it aborts loading because it cant run punkbuster like it wants to run it. We have seen about 1 different instances of PunkBusterAPBInstaller.exe in different location. but punkbuster just appeared "silently" in the taskmanager. What is PunkBusterAPBInstaller.exe PunkBusterAPBInstaller.exe is known as APB PunkBuster Wrapper and it is developed by Reloaded Games, Inc. punkbuster, because "usually" (atleast some i noticed from other games) such antihack programs add a tray icon down right to my windows bar. Then i thought "what else behaved suspicious somehow" and on my list it was "punkbuster" and "nvidia physx". Then i wanted to try to switch to mainboard sound, but somehow i noticed that i seem to miss some mainboard stuff to get it working.

so i updated the drivers but no change.ĭeactivated soundcard as hardware (maybe it works without sound?) but no change either. Ok, considdering that "its not my gfx card" i messed around activateing/deactivateing hardware and installing/uninstalling drivers i actually got it fixed and the game loads now!įirst i thought it might be my sound, as its a pretty old card and i had drivers from 2001 or something.
